The Penn Libraries’ Biotech Commons seeks a talented and creative full-time digital fabrication lab operator who can work directly with Penn users and operate equipment to support the fabrication of objects and parts. This is a great one-year position to start a 3D printing career in a state-of-the-art fabrication facility and learn from seasoned experts in a supportive environment.
The operator will also assist with the inventories of materials, will have an instrumental role in creating workflows for processing fabrication requests, and will assist researchers with simple evaluations of CAD files. Candidates must have previous experience in running commercial or consumer level 3D printers.
