Dear PALCI Colleagues,
We’re delighted to let you know the results of the 2022 PALCI Board election, which closed last month.

Both Alexis Macklin (Carlow University) and Ed Scarcelle (The New School) have been elected to the Board of Directors and will start their terms effective January 1, 2023. They will each serve a three-year term, taking on the vacancies that resulted from the conclusion of Sara Baron and Mihoko Hosoi’s terms. A total of 48 Members (PALCI Voting Representatives) cast votes and each candidate received resounding support. Full results are listed below.

The PALCI Board is an active and engaged group of leaders from diverse institutions throughout our region. Board members serve three year terms, with the option to renew once. In the coming years, the Board will be working closely with leaders from other PALCI member institutions, the Executive Director, and the PALCI staff on several exciting initiatives, including the continued implementation of PALCI’s Future Framework, which is designed to support and sustain successful PALCI collaboration well into the years ahead.
Please join me and the PALCI Board of Directors in congratulating Alexis and Ed! Thank you both for your service to the PALCI Board.

Sincerely,
Jill Morris
