Landman Library is searching for a Library Assistant for Access Services to serve as the primary contact for library patrons seeking access to library collections and services in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This new, full-time position is responsible for providing a range of library access services including assisting patrons respectfully and efficiently, interpreting and enforcing library policies, responding to initial reference and research needs while effectively referring patrons to the appropriate supports, and maintaining a professional and strong service-oriented ethos at the circulation desk. This position also oversees the hiring, training, and supervision of library student employees. This role directly interacts with students, faculty, and staff and is a great opportunity for a service-oriented professional.
