Jackie Laick

We are thrilled to announce that Jackie Laick will be joining PALCI’s consortial staff as our new Member Support Coordinator, beginning January 27. This newly created, part-time position will enhance support for our member libraries and deepen PALCI’s staff capacity and expertise— allowing us to work on member-prioritized initiatives, such as EZBorrow Digital, that will bring even greater value to our members. Jackie’s role will focus initially on adding support for PALCI’s resource sharing programs, systems, and services, as well as other PALCI member services interactions.

Jackie brings extensive experience in library systems, patron support, and resource sharing, with a deep passion for empowering library communities through access to information and services. She most recently served as Systems Librarian at Washington & Jefferson College, where she played a pivotal role in multiple system migrations and EZBorrow integrations. Jackie is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Library Association’s PA Forward® Training Team, where she contributed significantly to the development of the PA Forward® Star Library Program‘s Maintain Your Library’s Gold Star certification.

Jackie holds a BA in History from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Master of Library and Information Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Jackie as she embarks on this new role with PALCI!
