PALCI Announces 2025 Board of Directors Officers

Drexel Hill, PA – The Partnership for Academic Library Collaboration and Innovation (PALCI) is proud to announce the election of its 2025 Board of Directors officers. These dedicated leaders will play a pivotal role in advancing PALCI’s mission and vision, guiding strategic initiatives, and strengthening collaboration, resource sharing, and innovation among academic and research libraries.

The newly elected officers are:

  • Ed Scarcelle, Associate Provost for Libraries, Collections & Academic Services, The New School (NY) – President
  • Adam Hess, Library Director, Arcadia University (PA)Vice President/President-Elect
  • Karen Diaz, Dean of Libraries, West Virginia University (WV) – Treasurer
  • Scott Vine, Director of the College Library, Franklin & Marshall College (PA) – Secretary

“I am once again delighted to collaborate with this exceptional group of leaders in their new roles on the PALCI Board,” said Jill Morris, Executive Director of PALCI. “Our Board plays a vital role in ensuring PALCI remains a dynamic and highly valued organization. Our officers bring their time, dedication, and collective expertise to benefit all PALCI members.”

PALCI serves a consortium of 79 academic and research libraries, supporting large-scale cooperative initiatives, shared collections, and innovations in library tools and technology that supports the research enterprise. Under the leadership of the newly elected officers, PALCI will continue to build on its legacy of collaboration, with a focus on enhancing services and strategic partnerships in the evolving academic library landscape.
