Juniata College invites applications for the position of Instruction and Student Success Librarian. The Instruction and Student Success Librarian provides strategic leadership for the integration of information literacy into Juniata College’s academic programs and general education. This position plays a central role in designing and assessing information literacy skills that develop students’ research fluency, critical thinking, and ethical use of information, including emerging technologies.

Working closely with faculty and the Statton Learning Commons team, the librarian supports the alignment of information literacy outcomes with both general education and program specific information literacy outcomes. The position leads assessment efforts to evaluate student learning and uses those findings to shape responsive, data-informed instruction. In addition to instructional responsibilities, the librarian helps guide the library’s student staffing model.
