This position is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is grant-funded for the duration of the award, currently expected to be up to five (5) years, contingent upon continued funding.
The Engagement Librarian leads strategic outreach efforts to support teaching, learning, and research in mathematics and STEM-related disciplines. This role builds strong relationships with faculty, students, and campus partners to increase awareness and use of library resources, services, and expertise, with a particular focus on students who are underprepared in mathematics. The Engagement Librarian also coordinates the library’s participation in Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives and oversees inclusive belonging spaces that foster community, support student success, and promote equitable access to learning resources.
This position follows standard business hours with occasional evening and weekend work required. The role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
