Campbell Library, located in Glassboro, NJ, seeks creative and dynamic candidates for the position of Digital Humanities & Social Sciences (DH&SS) Librarian. While serving as a liaison to specific departments in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS), this newly established position will also provide critical support to faculty, students, and staff working in digital humanities and social sciences. Working in partnership with colleagues–including the Digital Scholarship Center Coordinator, the Repository Manager, the Scholarly Communication & Data Curation Librarian, staff in Library Technology Services, and the staff of University Archives and Special Collections–the DH&SS Librarian will assist CHSS faculty in the development, planning, implementation, creation, and support of digital teaching and research projects. In addition, they will provide research support, instruction, and collection development services in their liaison areas.

The successful candidate will: have demonstrated the ability to work in a complex, changing environment; have a proven capacity to work effectively in teams and build partnerships; and be committed to engaging in scholarly activities and providing service to the University, the community, and the profession.

This full-time tenure-track AFT (American Federation of Teachers) librarian faculty position will report to the Director of Research Engagement and Scholarship at Campbell Library. The successful candidate for this position will be hired at the rank of Librarian II (AFT Range 26) or Librarian III (AFT Range 22), depending on their prior experience.
