Murray Library, at Messiah University invites applications for Collection Strategies Librarian, a full-time, 11-month librarian position (August 1-June 30) with faculty status as part of the Community of Educators.
Primary responsibilities include shared librarian duties such as library instruction, collection development, reference services; unique responsibilities include serving as primary contact with vendors and ITS for all digital resources; analyzing print and digital collections to identify strengths, gaps, overlap and uniqueness of the collections; compiling usage data for annual statistics and accreditation processes; providing oversight for print and individual online serials; contributing support for client-side web technologies; serving as webmaster for the library home page and Primo interface; and serving as liaison to assigned academic departments.
