The Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI) and The Partnership for Academic Library Collaboration & Innovation (PALCI) are pleased to announce the successful completion of an IMLS grant to fund the project, “Hyku for Consortia: Removing Barriers to Adoption.”

Hyku for Consortia is an affordable, open source, and collaborative institutional repository solution based on the Hyku software. Now offered as a joint service to each consortium’s member institutions,  PALCI and PALNI are currently supporting approximately 30 libraries with its multi-tenant Hyku implementation.

Funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Hyku for Consortia was developed with input from a community of users comprising the Hyku Commons. Pilot participants also included libraries from partnering consortia VIVA and LOUIS, with development support from Software Services by Scientist.com.
